Corporate Programme Management

Corporate or Programme Management is the highest level within the PRINCE2 project management structure. This level of management is above the Project Management Team. As such it is not really part of the project, but instructs the Project Board to carry out the project on its behalf.

Corporate Management

All projects, regardless of whether or not they are part of a programme, are conducted within a wider corporate context.

Programme

Projects may stand alone or be a component of a programme of related projects. A programme oversees a set of related projects.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Commissioning project through the Project Mandate
• Establishing constraints (tolerances) in which Project Board operates.
